Blanco River Hotel, Blanco

My stay at the hotel was quite pleasant overall. The rooms were large and the bathroom was decent and clean, but a bit too dark for my liking. The location was wonderful, offering a safe and convenient commute to the venue. However, the dining experience fell short with limited options at breakfast.

The hotel rooms were nice and spacious with wonderfully comfortable mattresses, but the design could be improved to reduce light and noise disturbance at night. The service provided by the staff, especially at the front desk, was exceptional with a focus on safety. The location was beautiful with fragrant flowers and multiple amenities, although it was limited in terms of nearby dining options. The dining experience offered outstanding choices despite being a bit small. Overall, a pleasant stay with some room for enhancement.

I had a fantastic time at the hotel. The rooms were clean and spacious, with wonderfully comfortable mattresses, but they were not totally clean when we checked in. The service was top-notch, with friendly and informative staff who went out of their way to provide excellent service. The location was perfect for exploring Hill Country towns and enjoying the beautiful gardens. The dining experience was good, with replenished food in the morning. Overall, a great value for money stay.

Upon arrival, the hotel lived up to its promise with a convenient shuttle service to-and-from the venue for up to 4 people. The rooms were updated and clean, although there were minor cleanliness issues at check-in. The service was warm and welcoming, standing out even among other Best Westerns, with the staff being very nice and incredibly helpful. The location felt like a resort, boasting beautiful landscaping and fragrant flowers, providing easy access to nearby attractions in Hill Country, Johnson City, Fredericksburg, and Gruene. While the dining experience was satisfactory with a typical Best Western breakfast, it was the least they could offer as a courtesy. Overall, the facilities were accommodating, offering wedding services, laundry, newspaper service, tours/ticket assistance, and a paid city shuttle.

The hotel surpassed my expectations with its spacious rooms that were not only immaculately clean but also unbelievably quiet, offering a comfortable retreat for relaxation. While the room itself was decent and clean, it lacked some extra cozy touches that could enhance the experience.
